Why Should I Start Using Schedule-HR?

Because manual scheduling of staff is extremely time consuming. Schedule-HR helps you free up much of this time for more valuable activities.

Manual scheduling is difficult, particularly when each staff member has his or her own preferred assignment profile. It can be very hard to allocate staff into the schedule so that each staff member gets exactly the correct workload (especially if you have some part-time staff). Also, you will normally want to ensure everyone has his or her work evenly spread throughout the whole schedule.

Even with working schedule, alterations are inevitable in the face of unexpected staff non-availability. Automating the schedule's preparation and subsequent maintenance virtually eliminates all the headaches associated with schedule creation.

Does the program keep track of people taking time off (sick, holidays, etc)?

Absolutely! In fact you can move people from their regular shifts either manually or automatically during schedule generation.

Does it generate schedules?

Yes! Not only does Schedule-HR automatically generate schedules, it also gives you department calendars and individual employee schedules quickly and easily.

I am told that I can generate schedules in advance, how far in advance can I create a schedule?

Schedules can be created at any time up to one year in advance.

Can the program handle multiple shifts for employees?

Yes, the program can handle the scheduling of an employee in multiple shifts and multiple departments.

How do you add and delete assignments, shifts, patterns etc?

The adding or deleting of assignments, shifts and patterns can be done easily with a click of the mouse.

Can your product provide flexible pay structures that handle flat pay ranges, increments, incentives, commissions, and custom rules?

Yes! Schedule-HR has a payroll reporting module that can handle flat pay ranges accruals and deductions. We can also work closely with an organization to arrange any other custom rules that are needed.

Will it integrate with my current payroll system or replace it?

Schedule-HR can work with your current payroll system through electronic file transfer, ODBC or hard copy reporting.

Can I define my own names for things, modify time formats, and create just about any schedule pattern or shift I need?

Through Preferences, you can define or modify just about anything to suit your organization!

Can I generate my own reports from the data? Is there an export function?

Yes. Schedule-HR has features that allow you to export data to several different formats including text, Excel, Lotus, Word, HTML, DBF, RTF, etc.

Is it easy to print calendar reports for a schedule?

Yes! There are over eight schedule report formats to choose from.

How does your product handle backups and routine database maintenance?

Yes! Schedule-HR's Task Manager performs this function and can be integrated with Schedule-HR. Task Manager schedules tasks as often as required. The Task Manager can also be used to download card swipe data into Schedule-HR.

Can I give special permissions to certain users, for administrative or development duties?

Yes! Schedule-HR Plus allows for user-defined permissions for any user. Special permissions can be set up for administrators, schedulers, guests or any other user you define.

Can I run Schedule-HR on a Local Area Network?

Yes! Schedule-HR works on Local Area Networks and/or stand-alone computer systems.

Can I use a wheel mouse in the program?

Yes! Schedule-HR will work with a wheel mouse; just make sure you install the software that was provided with your mouse.
